Lots of Chitter Chatter

Nolan had plenty of things to say this morning. We're not too sure why all the English words came out today but here they are... Poppy, Poo Bear, I'm a big boy, bird, milk, please, cold and lotion... A couple of days ago, he said Happy and Dirt.

It's so cute to hear him talking... really now, he's our big boy. :)

Before the haircut...

Hair trim number two...

Today was Nolan's second hair trim. It was a little scary for him, as he was quite tearful and anxious throughout the haircut. Fortunately, 1 and a half inches was gone within 10 minutes... Pheef, get me outta here!

Now that Nolan's hair is shorter, he really looks like a little boy. He's lost all his baby look... hmmm all grown up...

After many unsuccessful spagetti attempts, I am greatful to inform you, that Nolan actually enjoyed every mouthful. Does this mean he will eat it tomorrow? One will never really know until his mouth opens and the food actually goes down.

Where does the time go?

We can never pause time... Time goes by faster and faster as we age. I remember as a child the school year always went by so slowly. And now, I look at Nolan... and wow he is already 17 months... Why does the time go by so much faster these days? I guess with our weekly appointments, groceries, play dates, river valley walks, breakfasts, lunches, dinners... more groceries... afternoons at the park, pool and maybe the zoo next week... Ahhhh and lets not forget about work- three shifts a week. Okay, I get it... we lead a very busy life. Kids... just the beginning I suppose.
