POP goes the weasel

Nolan's newest word... "Oh the wonderful sounds Mr. Brown can do, he can sound like a cork, he can go "Pop, Pop, Pop"... It seems as though Keith and I are either reciting Nolan's story books or signing his toddler songs... "When your up your up, when your down your down, and when you're only half way up your neither up or down..." and so on.

Hmmm the joys of parenting... there are so many things that occur each day that make us laugh or cross our eyes. Nolan's newest game is to help me put on my makeup each morning. He sits on the counter and passes me my blush... brush... eye liner, mascara... and then pretends to do it himself. Quite cute. He also enjoys feeding Zak, hugging and kissing Zak and trying to brush him with his tooth brush.

This past few weeks have been very busy for us. I have been picking up extra shifts-too many. In fact, I have been so busy, I've managed to stir up my asthma. Unfortunately after an attack, I was briefly back in the hospital yesterday. I think after these newest medications that I should be back up to myself fairly soon. Fortunately, I have this week off and will have lots of time to mend these broken lungs.

We will be heading to Mexico on April 3 to spend just under 2 weeks to bask in the sun, lay around by the pool and walk along the beach. It will be my first time to Mexico, Keith has been a few times before and of course, this is Nolan's first trip outside of Canada. My parents will also be there for 3 weeks. Can't wait to see them and of course RELAX, RELAX, RELAX!

Take care everyone... We'll be in touch soon.. Here are a few pictures over the past couple of weeks.

Can you see my teeth now?

He's very liberal!

WELCOME TO THIS WORLD DEVYN

A very big congratulations to Karen and Kelsey on their baby girl; Devyn was born Saturday morning on March 2nd weighing in at 7 pounds 2 ounces. Mom and baby are doing well, despite lack of sleep.

Nolan is also up and moving... literally. He has now started to stand up from sitting position and walk without any help. His balance is getting better each day. He is quiet the chatter box, I wonder where he gets that from... lol

Yeah... front facing in the car seat!
