We finally made our big move... Hooray! It was a long time coming, but it has been well worth the wait. Keith has done a marvelous job of designing and contracting our new home. We made the big move on Sunday, and all went smoothly except for a very expensive wall unit- oopsie someone dropped it... Next time we are definitely hiring movers.
Home sweet home... did I mention boxes everywhere? I am working from dusk til dawn one lonely box at a time... Lots of work, but now that we have all this extra space, it's kind of easy.
Sir Zak Francis is enjoying his new pad... racing around the house, up the stairs down the stairs, through the pantry down the stairs and back up... He is absolutely loving life. He also enjoys his new morning walks in the field beside our house- leash free and room to run.
Daddy set up Nolan's new exersaucer yesterday, and he is very much enjoying all the sounds, shapes and colors. We also set up his highchair last night, so he enjoyed his peaches this morning in his new highchair... it was a hit!
Unfortunately I do not have any pictures as we have misplaced our camera cord in all the boxes... Should be up and running in a day or so.

May Long

Hey Dude!

We had a wonderful May long weekend with our parents, Nolan, the pups and each other. This was the first year in a decade where Keith didn't ingest a 26' oz of vanilla stolie, eat a pound of hot dogs and spend the entire next week nursing himself back to health. Instead we spent a well rested weekend visiting with our parents. Keith and I spent an evening at a wedding while grammy and grampy looked after Nolan.
Of course when the weekend is over, and my parents have to head back to the loops it's always a teary goodbye. Our weekend was full of good laughs, nice river valley walks and good food.
We are very much looking forward to our wedding in Kamloops... Just 5 more weeks to go!!

Yo
Happy Mother's day weekend!! Are we moving yet? No, but Keith and I did a major clean up- dusted all the cabinets, vacuumed the floor and cleaned up all the garbage. Keith installed the central vacuum and we did get a garage floor. We need floors! The tile is finished and looks incredible; however, we are still in need of carpet and hardwood. We have a installer coming to see the house this morning, and we are hoping he will be able to install the floor today or tomorrow. The end is near, but not near enough- Keith and I are going insane!!

Nolan had his 6 month immunizations yesterday, and was feeling quite under the weather, in fact, his legs were so sore he was inconsolable last evening... when in doubt use tylenol- a life savor for Nolan. He is now 14.5 pounds of beautiful blubber, a head circumference of 41.5 and his length is now 24 inches. Nolan is between the 10 and 25th percentile for his weight and head circumference and in the 5th percentile for height- Geeze I wonder where he gets that from the Pearce or the Price side?
He is in much better spirits this morning, and currently in enjoying his morning nap. Today is suppose to be nice, so Zak, Nolan and I will be off to the river valley for an afternoon walk. The boys always enjoy the exercise.

The Lip

Wow! I haven't seen so much rain since I was last in Vancouver. Edmonton doesn't usually get this much rain; it may get snow in August, but it never gets 3 days of straight rain (thanks to global warming I guess). Not only was it pouring rain yesterday, but Nolan had a very tearful and fussy day. Whether it was the rain, teething, tummy aches or just plain old fussy it was a crappy day for both of us. Someone stole a few things out at our new house, so Keith was quite upset to say the least and of course I had the car assessed for just under 2000 dollars damage... Geeze, it's always something.
I caught a few pictures of Nolan in the jolly jumper having a good scream. He did manage to stay in the jumper for almost 45 minutes before getting pooped out. And fortunately for Keith and I, Nolan only woke up once last night to feed. A great, well needed sleep for all of us.

6 months old

Nolan was six months old on April 30th. On his sixth month birthday Nolan learned how to sit by himself while listening to himself talk loudly. He has changed dramatically within the last week. He is much more aware of his surroundings, likes to chat up a storm and is learning the "crawl". He has yet to make any significant movement; however, can inch his way across the floor. Today, May 2nd Nolan had his first taste of peaches... And of course was a hit!
He is now in the true teething stage. His cheeks have yet to become cherry red; however, his gums are slightly swollen, he is very drooly and chews on everything. Speaking of our little munchkin, he is now fussy and ready for bed... bye for now.
