We have had an absolutely wonderful July and August- basking in the sun... rain... wind and overcast sky's. Keith, Nolan and I spent a couple of weeks in Kamloops in July, then went to Victoria for a few days to spend our mini honeymoon. We had an awesome time checking out the sites and walking along the ocean for miles... and miles. Keith and I went on a whale watching tour, and fortunately saw at least 20 killer whales.
Keith was the successful candidate for a sales position with Victalic and has been busy training for that company since August 7th. He has since spent a couple of weeks in Ontario, Vancouver and will be heading back to Eastern Canada in the next few weeks. He will then head down to Pennsylvania for a couple weeks in October. Since Keith has been off training for his new position, Nolan and I have spent some extra time with Grammy and Grampy in Kamloops. We spent lots of time swimming in the pool, going for walks and listening to some good ol' rock'in roll down at the park.
I spent some time hanging out at the festivals in Edmonton. We had some great food and watched some awesome entertainment at the Heritage festival and Fringe. Next year, Nolan will be staying with Daddy, so mommy and her friends can move about more freely.
As for the whipping cream on top... Nolan is as active as ever, and has the activity as a 12 month old. His weight has leveled off and he has only gained a pound over the last two months. He is now just over 15 pounds and has been put on a high calorie diet of whipping cream... 18% cream and lots of butter. Nolan is now sleeping through the night, so we are hopeful that he will start to gain some much needed weight over the next few months.
